Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts of America
Our Chapter provides monetary support
to the Monmouth Council of Boy Scouts of America and the
Girl Scouts, helping to defray some of their expenses.

Retired Senior Volunteer Program
(RSVP)
Our Chapter supports the Retired and
Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP).
Seniors volunteer time to assist local grade
schools by conducting reading programs.
Our Chapter’s donation was used to purchase books
for grades K-6 at one of the local schools. Each student was given two books to use during their reading
lessons.
Technology Day
Our Chapter wants to support our
Corporate Members through a Technology Day Event.
We offer them the opportunity to host one of these
events at their location or a location of their choice.
Our Corporate Members plan the event,
they design their own marketing material and the Chapter
will publish their event on our newly designed website.
The Chapter will send out invitations to all of our

Education
Awards:
Citizen Scholar Award
Our Chapter recognizes high school
seniors and college undergraduates in good academic
standing who have distinguished themselves through their
record of volunteerism and community involvement. In 2007
our Chapter presented AUSA Certificates and awarded three laptop
computers and four Personal Digital Assistants (PDA).
In 2006 our Chapter presented AUSA Certificates and
awarded five lap top computers and four Personal Digital
Assistants (PDA). In 2005 our Chapter presented AUSA
Certificates and
awarded five lap top computers and two Personal Digital
Assistants (PDA).

Monmouth Junior Science Symposium
Our Chapter co sponsors the Monmouth
Junior Science Symposium along with other Professional
Associations at Fort Monmouth.
The students receive scholarship awards.
Monmouth Regional High School Essay Program
Our Chapter sponsors an annual
essay contest at Monmouth Regional High School. Our
Chapter provides a list of topics. In 2007 the top eight essays were rewarded with an AUSA Certificate and a Savings Bond. Bonds ranged in value from $500
for 1st Place to $75 for Honorable Mention. In 2006 the top eight essays were rewarded with an AUSA Certificate and a
Savings Bond. Bonds ranged in value from $500.00 for 1st
Place to $75.00 for Honorable Mention. In 2005 the
top ten essays were rewarded with an AUSA Certificate and
a Savings Bond. Bonds ranged in value from $1,000.00
for 1st Place to $250.00 for Honorable Mention.
United States Military Academy
Preparatory School (USMAPS)
Soldier, Scholar, Athlete Award
Our
Chapter recognizes the top Cadet Candidate in each of the
three USMAPS companies. In 2007 the Chapter
presented the Soldier, Scholar, Athlete award to the Cadet Candidate in each
of the Prep School's three Companies. Each winner received a $500
Savings Bond, an AUSA plaque and a one year membership in AUSA. In 2006 each winner received
a $500.00 Savings Bond, an AUSA plaque and a one year
membership in AUSA. In 2005 each winner received a $500.00
Savings Bond and an AUSA plaque.
West Point Society of New Jersey
Our
Chapter continues to sponsor the annual one-day seminar,
hosted by the West Point Society of New Jersey. This
year there were eighty students and administrators from
twenty different schools at Brookdale Community College,
Lincroft, New Jersey. This year's topic was
'Ethics'.
